Nicole Najjar is a partner at Mattos Filho in Brazil, specializing in private client services. Her practice focuses on advising individuals and family-owned businesses through a multidisciplinary approach that encompasses tax, corporate, succession, and family law. Ms. Najjar has extensive experience in corporate governance, succession and estate planning, and provides both advisory and litigation services in family and succession law. She is particularly recognized for her expertise in handling cross-border contentious disputes, including complex international family and inheritance conflicts. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of São Paulo (USP, 2005) and a Master’s degree in Tax Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP, 2015). Ms. Najjar is also a professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas Law School (FGV Law) in São Paulo and serves as the Director of the Brazilian branch of STEP – the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and IBRAPP – Instituto Brasileiro de Planejamento Patrimonial.
