Lucia Ibarreche
Lucía Ibarreche-Brühl. Director at Corpag Argentina since 2019. Lawyer (graduated with honours). Master of Tax Law at Universidad Austral. Lucía has been practicing law for more than fifteen years and is expert in tax law and private wealth structuring. Throughout her professional career in some of the largest law firms in Buenos Aires, Lucía has mainly concentrated on assisting high-net-worth (HNW), ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) and institutional families, in connection with the set-up and management of fiduciary structures, as well as resolving succession issues and ensuring that family assets are properly protected. From an academic perspective, Mrs. Ibarreche-Brühl has been an assistant professor of tax law at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and Professor of Tax Law Course at the BAR Association of the City of Buenos Aires. She also acted as member of examining committees for LLMs in Taxation (Universidad Austral and Universidad Católica Argentina). Lucía has been a previous STEP Latam speaker (2013) and she participated as author and co-author in different publications, including The Bureau of National Affairs, Inc. (BNA); Tax Notes International; Practical Latin American Tax Strategies; and Member Insights (Transnational Taxation Network).
