Gabriela Lobo (Mexico City, 1969) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Smith College (1991) and a Master’s in Art History from Williams College (1993). After graduating, she began working at Christie’s New York in 1993 within the Latin American Art department, advising Latin American clients. She returned to Mexico in 2000 to assume the position of Regional Director, a role she continues to hold today. With over thirty years of experience, Gabriela Lobo specializes in multiple facets of auction house operations—from buying and selling major collections to advising on appraisals and arranging art loans.
