Alberto Echegaray Guevara
Mr. Echegaray Guevara is Director of Newton Capital a private equity fund that invested in Coinbase, Kraken and Space X among other companies. He is also founder of Trustlink Digital Assets a custodial platform for digital assets. Alberto has more than 20 years of experience in project finance and joint ventures, with a focus on infrastructure, pharmaceutical, and energy projects. He is a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank and senior advisor on digital assets and international regulations for Financial Intelligence Units including: OECD, G20 Task Force, Gafilat, Egmont Group and several financial institutions. Former representative of Argentina at the FATF (Virtual Assets regulation). He is a senior advisor for the Bureau of Counterterrorism of the US Department of State.
He participates as a member of the Bipartisan Task Force to Investigate Terrorism Financing at the US Congress. He serves as Board member at Lydians Capital and Space AI. He is a frequent speaker on blockchain technology and trading of digital assets, and has appeared in leading media outlets including Bloomberg, CNN, Al Jazeera, NTN24 and Univision.
He holds a Masters in Policy Management (Georgetown University), Graduate of the Ecole Nationale d’ Administration Paris, France and has a Management Diploma from Harvard University. He also holds a BA in International Relations from Westpoint and Argentina’s Military Academy.
