Heleno Torres
Heleno Taveira Torres is a Full Professor of Tax Law with the Economic, Finance and Tax Law Department of the Law School of the University of São Paulo, holding Habilitation (USP), Ph.D. (PUCSP), Master (UFPE) and Specialist (Università di Roma – La Sapienza) degrees in Tax Law. Mr. Torres is a lawyer, was a Vice-President of the Executive Committee of the International Fiscal Association – IFA, the Executive Committee of Instituto Latino Americano de Derecho Tributario – ILADT, in addition to other major associations in Brazil and abroad, such as ABDF, ABRADT, IAB, and IASP. Furthermore, he is a councilor to the Superior Council of Legal and Legislative Matters (CONJUR), the Federation of Industries of the State (FIESP), and to the Superior Council of Law of the Federation of Commerce of the State of São Paulo (FECOMERCIO).
