With a holistic approach and assisted with a full-service legal team at Basham, covers any legal aspect related to families from the individual to their companies. 

Graduated from the Law School of the Universidad Panamericana, he has a Master degree in Tax Law in the same university and a Foundation Certificate in International Trust Management from The University of Manchester Business School, STEP and CLT International.

He was one of the funders of STEP México, Chair of the Mexican chapter from 2017 to 2019 and current member of the board. He is also active member of the International Fiscal Association and Vice president of the National Scientific Tax Committee of the Mexican Institute of Financial Executives (IMEF). 

Awarded as "Lawyer of the Year 2023 in Trusts & Estates" by Best Lawyers' publication, and recognized as a prominent lawyer by Legal 500, Who's Who Legal and Band 1 in Wealth Private Law by Chamber's and Partners High Net Worth.

He worked for the Mexican Tax Administration Service as Deputy Director of International Tax Rulings Department from 2000 to 2003, carried out an internship at Australian Taxation Institute (ATAX) in Sydney Australia, joining Basham in 2004, and was admitted to partnership in 2014.
